Pre-Flite's famous massive Oak Doors
The Pre-Flite Lounge is Sacramento’s best known secret. In 1972, the downtown Sacramento L Street was packed with airline carriers. Travelers would purchase a flight ticket and then lounge in what is now Pre-Flite’s lobby area. They could then take a shuttle up to the airport. The founders of Pre-Flite set up a bar connected to the lounge area by massive oak doors, allowing travelers to have a “Pre Flite” before their pre flight.
